Pricing Disclosures
As the electricity industry is regulated by the Commerce Commission, the amount Centralines may charge customers for the distribution of electricity is determined by the Commission, using the Default Price-Quality Path methodology.
This methodology takes into account a number of inputs, including revenues, cost of capital, future investment and operating expenses, ensuring our business is sustainable while ensuring quality of service to our customers.
Each year, Centralines is required to set tariffs within the Commerce Commission’s ruling on pricing, and publish these tariffs and related methodology.
