CHB Consumers Power Trust appoint three new directors to Centralines Limited

Trustees of the Central Hawke’s Bay (CHB) Consumers Power Trust have appointed three new directors to Centralines Limited.

New directors Tony Gray, Sarah von Dadelszen and Len Gould will join the Centralines Board in November following long-standing directors, Jon Nichols (Chair) and Wendie Harvey retiring at the end of October.

Trust Chair, Alistair Setter said the Trust is pleased with the professional capability and proven experience the new directors will bring to the Board.

“We are thrilled to have three new directors of this calibre join the Centralines Board. They are all great advocates for Central Hawke’s Bay, and we look forward to the valuable contribution they will make to ensure Centralines continues to see substantial growth in the coming years.

“We also thank long-standing Chair, Jon Nichols, and Director, Wendie Harvey, for the significant contribution they have made to Centralines, and the Central Hawke’s Bay community, over the past nine and six years respectively,” said Mr Setter.

Tony Gray is currently a director of EA Networks Limited, Civic Financial Services Limited, Artemis Nominees Limited, Quality Roading and Services (Wairoa) Limited, and chair of Tatau Tatau o Te Wairoa Commercial Limited and Ngati Pukenga Investments Limited.

Mr Gray is also an executive project advisor to Hastings District Council and currently chair of the Establishment Board of Foodeast. Previously, he was chief financial officer at Hastings District Council and has also held senior finance roles at Te Runanga o Ngai Tahu, Mighty River Power and TVNZ.

Formerly chair of the CHB Consumers Power Trust, Sarah von Dadelszen is a sheep, beef and dairy farmer and experienced director. She is currently a director of Ballance Agri-Nutrients and FMG (Farmers Mutual Group). She stepped down from being a trustee of the Agricultural Marketing and Research Development Trust (AGMARDT) earlier this year. Mrs von Dadelszen and her husband operate a sheep and beef property, and a dairy farm near Takapau in Central Hawke’s Bay.

Len Gould has over 40 years of transmission and distribution industry experience, having held senior roles with Transpower (including its predecessors) and Unison Networks Limited.

Mr Gould most recently held the role of General Manager Commercial at Unison Networks where he was responsible for all commercial activities as well as facilities management of Centralines.

Other directors on the Centralines Board are Ian Walker, Derek Walker and Fenton Wilson.
