CHB Consumers Power Trust announces distribution payment
Tuesday 26 June – Central Hawke’s Bay power consumers will receive a winter bonus, with the Trustees of the Central Hawke’s Bay (CHB) Consumers Power Trust announcing that a distribution payment will be made this week.
The Trust today announced a $905 tax-paid distribution to power consumers, following Centralines’ excellent financial results and network performance.
Trust Chairman, Alistair Setter said the distribution amount reflected Centralines’ solid performance over recent years.
“In addition to maintaining a strong financial position, Centralines has continued to explore growth opportunities while delivering a reliable network. This has seen the company expanding the Central Hawke’s Bay network – while working as far afield as Dunedin – alongside significant vegetation work, technology investment and network enhancements,” said Mr Setter.
All Central Hawke’s Bay power consumers connected to the Centralines network on 31 May 2018 will receive a distribution payment, with cheques mailed out this week.
“Both the Trust and Centralines receive many enquiries from the community regarding the payment of the dividend cheque. In the first instance, we encourage consumers to visit Centralines’ website for a full list of frequently asked questions and answers.
“Any consumers who haven’t received their cheque by the end of next week are encouraged to contact our Help Desk on 06 858 7770 during business hours,” said Mr Setter.
Centralines is 100 percent owned by the Central Hawke’s Bay Consumers Power Trust. Information on the company is publicly available from the Centralines Office and its website, www.centralines.co.nz.
